Listen here: Little Girls

Written by Hilde and Miranda, and sung by Jules, all of GalleryCast. It is based on the song “Little Girls” by Mark Schoenfeld and Barry McPherson for the musical “Annie”

Little girls, little boys
Every where I turn I can see them
Little girls, little boys
Night and day, I eat, sleep, and breathe them

I’m an ordinary man with feelings
All around me are nut jobs and that seer
No one let me crack the whip
Maybe I’ll get to beat them all next year

How I hate little boys, little wands, and each little twitty
I’d have cracked up years ago if it weren’t for my precious kitty

Some men are dripping with galleons
Some men are dripping with awards
Lucky me, lucky me, look at what I’m dripping with:

Little boys
Little cheeks, little teeth, everything around me is little
If I wring little necks, surely I would get an acquittal
Someday I’ll step on those witches
Someday I’ll blast those wizards

Send a flood, send the flu, anything that you can do to
Little boys
Someday I’ll land in St. Mungo’s with all the Lockys and Quirrells
There I’ll stay, tucked away, until the prohibition of little girls
